Andre Gordon was arrested in Trenton, New Jersey, over eight hours after the shootings.
According to local officials, a suspect shot and murdered three persons in two communities in Falls Township, Pa., on Saturday morning before escaping to New Jersey and being apprehended there.

Falls Township Police stated in a statement that the suspect, Andre Gordon, fatally shot two persons at a residence on Viewpoint Lane before leaving in a stolen automobile. Shortly later, the suspect shot and murdered another person at a residence on Edgewood Lane.

According to a Bucks County District Attorney’s Office announcement, two victims have been identified: Gordon’s sister, Kera Gordon, 13, and his stepmother, Karen Gordon, 52. Three individuals, including a kid, hid during the event and survived.

Taylor Daniel, 25, who has two children with the suspect, is the third victim at the second residence. According to the statement, there were four other persons there, and the suspect reportedly used an assault weapon to bash Daniel’s mother.

Incident Details

According to authorities, the incident began in Trenton early Saturday morning when Gordon carjacked a woman and took her car, which he then drove to Bucks County.

“The guy started banging on my car with the back of the gun, so I jumped over the seat and ran.” “I’m so glad I’m alive because he could have killed me,” said Sonia Hanson, the suspected carjacking victim.

Around 8:52 a.m., Falls Township police officers were dispatched to the unit block of Viewpoint Lane in Levittown for a reported gunshot.

According to police, Gordon arrived there in the stolen vehicle and shot and murdered two residents.

Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn identified the victims as Gordon’s stepmother, 52-year-old Karen Gordon, and his 13-year-old sister, Kera Gordon.

Three other individuals, including a 13-year-old, were inside the house at the time but were able to flee while Gordon searched for them, Schorn said.

The Pennsbury School District later confirmed on Facebook that one of the victims was an eighth-grade student from Boehm Middle School.

The district connected families and children affected by the death to grief counselling resources. Officials also announced that counsellors would be available at school on Sunday and Monday.

Around 9:01 a.m., police were dispatched to the unit block of Edgewood Lane in Levittown, where Gordon reportedly shot and murdered 25-year-old Taylor Daniel, with whom he shares two children.

According to officials, both children were at home when the event occurred.

Gordon then reportedly assaulted Daniel’s mother with his assault weapon before escaping.

“There were four other individuals present inside that home, one of which was injured after being bludgeoned by Gordon with the assault rifle,” Schorn said.

At 9:13 a.m., police say Gordon kidnapped the 44-year-old driver of a Honda CRV at gunpoint in the parking lot of the Dollar General on Bristol Pike in Morrisville. The carjacking victim was unharmed.

Following the early-morning shootings, authorities reported that at around 9:13 a.m., the suspect stole a 2016 dark grey Honda CRV from an unidentified person at a Morrisville, Pennsylvania, Dollar General. The automobile was found by police in New Jersey at 11:38 a.m., uninhabited.

An update from the police stated, “We received information [at 12:22 p.m.] that Gordon is currently barricaded, with hostages, inside a residence in Trenton, New Jersey.”

The home in the 100 block of Phillips Street was then surrounded by the Trenton City Police Department’s SWAT unit.

In response to the latest information, Falls Township’s earlier-day shelter-in-place order was removed at 12:25 p.m.

Police characterized the suspect as “Andre Gordon, roughly 6’1″ with a slim frame, last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.” It is thought that he utilized an assault weapon that he had to carry out these acts. Gordon is thought to have further firearms. Gordon is a really dangerous person.

According to the authorities, Andre Gordon was arrested in Trenton at around five o’clock on Saturday, and “he will be charged in Bucks County at the appropriate time.”
