Aryiah Lynch Bio – Aryiah Lynch Wiki

Aryiah Lynch, a McDonald’s employee from Missouri, is recuperating from surgery following an attack on her workplace by an adult male.

She claimed to the local television station First Alert 4 that on April 8, she and another teenage cashier were working at a McDonald’s in St. Louis County when a group of adults, among them Johnny Ricks, 25, entered the establishment and allegedly started destroying property, spitting on the staff, and starting fights.

According to St. Louis County Police, Johnny Ricks, 25, grabbed the adolescent by her hair and dragged her across the restaurant’s parking lot just outside of St. Louis. He then reportedly struck her in the face and head, hitting the concrete. Ricks was arrested for assault.

A GoFundMe page her family created. She sustained harm to her frontal lobe, a broken nose, and fractures to her skull.

Incident Details

Police say a raucous group of patrons started a fight with staff inside the restaurant earlier this month, which led to a vicious attack on a 15-year-old female employee of McDonald’s in the parking lot. The attacker repeatedly stomped on her head and pulled her by the hair. The attacker has a long criminal history.

Ricks was trying to place an order at the counter when he reportedly became agitated and hurled a plastic tray at an electronic menu board, breaking it, according to police reports that NBC affiliate KSDK was able to obtain. When the altercation started, staff members requested Ricks to leave and attempted to lead him outside.

According to a video of the incident that went viral on social media and was acquired by KMOV, Ricks is seen stomping on Lynch’s head and yanking Aryiah Lynch hair outside the restaurant. As Lynch attempted to get up, Ricks reportedly smacked her in the head once again.

“Being trampled by an adult male?” Lynch informed First Alert. “I wasn’t ready for what was going to occur.”

“At the time, all I was doing was attempting to protect myself. The adolescent went on, “I just want him locked up and accusations brought against him.

GoFundMe

Phillips describes the 15-year-old as an “ambitious young lady, who enjoys spending time with her siblings and working at McDonald’s” in the GoFundMe, which has already earned more than half its $50,000 target. Phillips said the girl worked at the restaurant to save money for her birthday.

“Aryiah Lynch is very independent, she is a loving and sweet girl who would give a person the shirt off of her back,” Phillips stated. “For her, this assault has changed the course of her life. Please remember Aryiah in your prayers, and let’s do everything we can to encourage her and keep her spirits up.”

Lynch’s mother, Shawnunique Phillips, said in a GoFundMe page for the teen’s medical expenses that she was “admitted to one of the local hospitals in Saint Louis with a skull fracture and frontal lobe damage,” as well as a broken nose, a concussion, and other lacerations on her head. She then underwent successful surgery on April 17.

Johnny Ricks Arrested

Due to accusations of second-degree property damage and felony assault, Ricks is being detained in the St. Louis County Justice Center.

April 25 is his next scheduled court date; however, it was unclear if he had hired legal representation then.

Jimmy Williams, the owner of the McDonald’s where the fight started, told First Alert 4 in a statement, “As a local business owner, ensuring the safety of both our employees and customers is paramount to me, and we have a strict workplace violence policy at my restaurants.”

“In their investigation, my team is fully assisting the St. Louis County Police.”

According to the publication, the St. Louis County Police are aggressively looking for other victims, witnesses, and suspects while collaborating with the North County Precinct to investigate the crime.

Ricks’ bond is for $150,000 cash only—not ten percent.

McDonald’s owner Jimmy Williams told First Alert that his staff “is fully cooperating with the St. Louis County police in their investigation.”

As a local company owner, Williams told the outlet, “We have a strict workplace violence policy at my restaurants and I am committed to ensuring the safety of both our customers and employees.”
