Dale Mooney Wiki – Dale Mooney Biography

Dale Mooney, a Patriots supporter and father of two who died after being sucker-punched by another fan at New England’s game with the Miami Dolphins on the weekend, courageously saved the life of a little child on a New Hampshire beach years before.

Dale Mooney, who died on Sunday, risked his own life in July 2009 when he saw a youngster trapped between rocks on a jetty on Hampton Beach and raced to help her, reported to a local news article then.

“The waves were smashing over her, and she couldn’t even stay on her feet,” Mooney said of the near-tragic incident.

“She continued to fall in between the rocks, desperately trying to keep her head above water.”

According to the publication, the child attempted to collect her boogie board when trapped in the rocks as the water rose and wind gusts reached 30 mph.

Mooney, then 39, walked close to the girl and quickly found himself engulfed by the merciless surf and waves.

Police Report

There was no more information offered.

According to standard procedure, Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Norfolk district attorney’s office are looking into the death of a 53-year-old New Hampshire man following an incident in Gillette Stadium’s 300s tier during the game on September 17, 2023, according to a press release.

Another Sunday game witness, Joey Kilmartin of Nashua, New Hampshire, told the neighbourhood news source that the incident was sparked by constant arguments between two groups of spectators during the game. Near the end of the fourth quarter, a violent brawl resulted from the back and forth.

Kilmartin says, “The Dolphins fan walks across and openly hits him in the face.” “[He] gets knocked out, and you can tell immediately that he’s not OK.”

Kilmartin, who subsequently testified to Foxborough police, claimed that Mooney never stood up again after EMTs came to do CPR on him.

He stated, “It’s a bad scenario. “I’m sorry for the family,”

Kilmartin sent WCVB-TV, an ABC station in Boston, a video of the event, and WCVB-TV released still images of the incident.
