Mint Butterfield Bio – Mint Butterfield Wiki

Mint Butterfield, the kid of millionaire tech CEO Stewart Butterfield, went missing from their mother’s house in Bolinas on April 21. Law enforcement reports that they had previously threatened suicide and are ‘at risk’. Authorities said they have no cause to suspect foul play or illegal activity.

Police have released an update on the hunt for rich heiress Mint Butterfield, stating that they do not suspect foul play.

Butterfield is the sole child of two Silicon Valley entrepreneurs: Slack co-founder Stewart Butterfield and Flickr founder Caterina Fake.

The kid of Slack’s wealthy co-founder is still missing, and searches are ongoing.

On Thursday, April 25, Marin County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Adam Schermerhorn told PEOPLE that the department is “still actively investigating leads and working with the juvenile’s mother to try and acquire digital devices and other items that could have information.”

According to Schermerhorn, authorities hope Mint’s personal effects will reveal evidence about where they were or why they vanished.

Authorities “do not have any reason to believe there is foul play” or “anything criminal” related to Mint’s disappearance, he continued.

Missing

The Marin County Sheriff’s Office released a press statement on Thursday night stating that Mint is a “voluntary missing person.”

When Caterina Fake, Mint’s mother, found a message on Monday morning suggesting that her adolescent daughter had gone, she reported her missing.

According to the sheriff’s news statement, “Mint did not have access to a vehicle or phone, so it is unclear how they left the area.” We don’t currently have any reason to think that Mint was abducted against their will. Mint Butterfield is a voluntary missing adolescent who is deemed “At-Risk” by the Sheriff’s Office because of a prior suicide threat that has been documented.”

Authorities think Mint may have visited San Francisco’s Tenderloin District based on remarks made by Fake. The San Francisco Standard was informed by officials that Mint “has a history of substance abuse and is known to frequent the Tenderloin.” The community is around thirty miles from Mint’s most recent sighting in Bolinas.

Additionally, Fake and Mint live in San Francisco. However, the sheriff’s news release should have disclosed the location.

According to the news statement, Mint has yet to be found as of Thursday night despite the joint efforts of the San Francisco Police Department and Marin County Sheriffs.

According to the Marin County Sheriff’s Office, Mint Butterfield weighs 100 pounds, has “brown/reddish curly hair,” is around 5’0″ tall, and has pierced eyebrows. The outfit they were last seen in included a “black sweatshirt, flannel pyjama pants, and black boots.”

Authorities request that anyone with information on Mint’s whereabouts contact tips@marinsheriff.org or the Marin County Sheriff’s Office at (415) 479-2311.
